Is the Dual High Pressure Fuel Kit one of those things where it would be a shame not to install alongside with a new turbo? What kind of gains are expected compared to the stock fuel setup?

I have heard that if you want to do one before the other that our trucks could benefit from either or until you add the other. Im doing a turbo first and then adding the dual fuelers a year later.

Personal opinion but if you want any sort of serious power gains, its a must

If you can't afford to drop money on both, I would go turbo first. You'll see a big jump just by replacing the stock turbo.

Gotcha! I will most likely do that as well. An additional $3,000 on top of new turbo costs is a bit rough, but I wanted to make sure it wasn't like doing gears and not differentials at the same time.

When I did my truck the Turbo kits were just coming out so I did the Dual Fuel first. My truck would shut off with the stock fuel at WOT because I would drain the fuel rails. Also Gearhead and Elite didn't have the Tunes out for the 13's. If I had to do it again I would do the Turbo first and gain the 73HP without the fuel. I was lucky I didn't launch the Turbo clean off the top of the motor with the Dual Fuel pump. For those of you that have not done the Mods you are in for a big surprise when you are done. The one thing you are forgetting is to save money for tires also. Your going to need it.

H&S kit does not require a turbo removal. Pretty easy install even for a novice such as myself.

But I'm curious to see Elite's. Do you guys have it on your webpage?

Well, that's good. No pressure for me to do it all the same time. Is the AirDog II worth a hoot?

it really depends on your power goals and what you use the truck for.
I think my primary performance goal is response. I really want this thing to take off whenever I hit the pedal, either from a complete stop or while coasting. I'll probably never have the truck on a dyno and the only time on a track would be for self amusement, if the chance ever comes along. I'm still using stock 3.55 gears on 38's right now, so that may not be helping me. Of course, more power in any other aspect of driving is welcome.

Not sure how accurate this description is for the Danville turbo, especially for my application, but it certainly grabbed my attention...

Duramax 2004.5-2010

The Stage 2 BatMoWheel Turbocharger is a great upgrade for towing, daily driving, and for the weekend warriors that take it to the track. This is a brand new turbo cartridge and modifications to the exhaust housing including CNC porting, port matched gaskets and custom vanes decrease the drive pressure, allowing the turbocharger to breathe easier and lower EGT's. This is charger is good for stock to 700hp with proper modifications and tuning.

This turbo requires EFILive tuning for best results.

Other Information:
-Faster spool up over stock
-True 2.5" compressor bore
-Stock appearing
-Billet compressor wheel featuring Bullseye Power's BatMoWheel
-All new Garrett turbo cartridge
-Custom high flow vanes

What are your thoughts on "custom high flow vanes", "CNC porting and matching gaskets for the exhaust housing", and the "BatMoWheel Billet Compressor"? Thanks!
