run maple syrup instead of oil. it'll plug any leak and run better. Doncha know

Fixed it!

Damn Erik, how long was it down this time? I always thought "man, that must suck" lol well now I know, and I don't know how you stay sane/composed. I was inches from going off right when I got mine back. And I know its a pain to wait, get it and then have chit go wrong(fortunately it was just a rear shock bolt and a loose banjo).

It sat for a month when I got it back cause I wasn't in a good place with it. I said *** this thing. I finally decided I need to get back in it and then this happened. It will be back soon.

Well, we know why the hpfp cover was leaking. It was just set on there for paint. We didn't tighten or fully install it because all the hpfp fittings were not provided with the engine for us to put in.

So we set the cover on and painted it to ship loose.

How someone else missed it upon installing the fittings on the hpfp and the rest of the fuel system.. Well it doesn't matter. Either way it seems there was a lack of communication on what needed finished when Brown's received the engine. For that we take responsibility. Would have been better to leave it completely off the engine instead of sitting on it.

Glad it was minor and erik is on the road.

Slight miscommunication. :( like you said though, how they missed the bolts not even being in the holes reflects on everything else, especially when they sent it to you without the bolts. Hmmmm..... :lookaround: so is she leak free and running yet?
