So this wasn't that far off.

Oh ***, didn't see that one. One day I said ftw told him to do it. Didn't know it was that much work or I would have said dont worry about it. Its a toy, sand drag truck now. Want to get 4 paddles and go play with the Jeeps.

It was galvanized. It welds fine. Just doesn't look like a "classic" tig weld. No need to be too fancy, it's just a hood stack lol. I ceramic coated it and heat wrapped it as well. Thing is literally almost touching the a/c lines.
