Using a little water

Just wanted to get everyone's opinion . My truck has 20,000 miles on rebuilt motor noticed my water level has gone down a little , I have no leaks . Since it was new when I start it smokes bluish , when cold out it smokes whiteish blue , didn't know if I should be checking the injector cups. Thanks for any help

You done a lot of heavy towing at all? Maybe it boiled out? Just throwing out an idea.

Any towing I do is not that heavy . Tom , it was built buy a local guy in my area

Did they lower the compression at all. The start up smoke would have me wondering a bit. What head gaskets did they use.

Small coolant leaks can be darn tricky to find sometimes. Do you get any hint of an antifreeze smell under the hood?

Yeah the pistons are cut and coated not sure how much . It has cometic head gaskets
Don't smell anything

pressure test the cooling system and get a flashlight to see if you can find any external leaks.

I do not have personal experience but it seems to me others had problem with cometics. I do not remember the details.

Will do on the pressure test , maybe a quart since I change my block heater in January
Tom only reason I got them , i was told they can handle more pressure but no more than I'm doing I probably could've used stock gaskets
