wanna run mid 13s

i have a 97 reg cab lb 7.3l and i wanna run mid to low 13s this year. what would i need. right now im running rosewood 160/100s dptuner and have a d66 i need to put on it

Fuel system, HPOP, built trans, at least 280/200's, bigger turbo than the D66 would help, Nitrous can push it into that range too

Exactly that reg cab is really light to.

I'd say a decent set of hybrids and that D66 will get ya the power to hit mid 13's easy. Gonna want a trans and all that other fun stuff if you don't have it yet.

With a fuel system, 17* hpop, an good tuning, I wouldn't be suprised if your knocking on 13s with your current set-up.


Obs trucks are light, my crewcab longbox with everything still on it besides the spare and half a tank of fuel, my trucks right at 7100lbs

Well according to the calculator you'll only need 400rwhp to hit 13.5, which you should be able to do right now.

You get what you pay for on injectors. You can find better deals on used ones but if you send em back to get flowed & freshened up your repair bill can be as much as buying em outright. Unlimited Diesel just started doing lifetime warranties, hard to argue with piece of mind from the get go.

Yeah it's possible, good fuel system & tranny will go a long ways. You have an intercooler?

Yea I think its possible under the right circumstances. As long as your not running huge tires, an can hook at the track, and as long as your truck is running good you should either hit 13s or get damn close

Well im ganna be getting the bts in febuary and lookin at irates fuel system and im runnin 305/75/16s and last year when i launched my deck flew out of my dash and i had the pins in it so im thinkin it hooks up well

You're gonna want some sort of HPOP with that fuel system to take full potential of your injectors as well
