Eh, I took the shroud and the fan out tonight. Took maybe 10 mins from the time I walked out of the garage to the time I went back in. Slowest water pump replacement ever.... :morons: Hopefully parts start showing up tomorrow.

Everybody gripes about remanned parts. I used an O'Reillys remanned, I did have to replace it, after 120K miles.

I also simply use a big pipe wrench with the handle sticking straight up, smack the handle with a hammer a couple of times. Comes right off.

Just got an email that my water pump was delivered today. Picking up the last of the hoses this evening, and I'll have it done soon enough. :blitzed:

I had a hard time with that as well.....you are not alone

The fan alone was a 2 beer project.

I have one sitting on the work bench at home, it will never go back into one of my trucks.

Got everything done last night. Hardest part about it was getting the damn fan back on. :pointlaugh:

Yea did mine last year, started leaking in an advanced autoparts parking lot lol, def the worst part is lining those threads up puttin the fan on, everything else went together smoothly
