Just upgraded my tow rig, took it on its first road trip, 1550 miles from VA to TX. Light load, only about 6k or so, but it pulled it great. Huge upgrade over the 2000 F-250, especially when it comes time to move my 15k FW across the country to Washington.

The tow truck isn't a ford and that's no Superduty loaded up but I figured I would post. I got a new company truck for this year and needed to take the Raptor to the Dyno and then drop it at Kooks. 315rwhp stock, 345 with a JMS boostmax, and then back on the rollers when the exhaust is complete.

My fuel mileage is terrible with this tall prick of a trailer. Probably 200 miles to a tank with a tailwind...

I never understood the tall azz campers, I wouldn't want the higher center of gravity towing and getting and out all of the time looks extra challenging.

to be able to stand upright is a plus.. really doesn't effect towing.. at least not with the 5er I had..
950 miles, 98 gallons of fuel. Might as well buy a semi and 53' trailer.

evidently you didn't know that the 6.7s lose almost half of the mpg that they got empty when hooked to a load.. lol.. it sucks for sure..

Personally I've never camped at a campground other than my picture, which I stayed in the trailer for work. My trailer goes through ditches, creeks and miles of off-road. I like the true outback style of camping, hence the lifted trailer...
