Input shaft..I know a buddy in a 6.4 who did something similar but going 70 on a highway while hitting a bridge...snapped the billet input from suncoast like a toothpick. But he claims it was his traction bars that didn't allow full cycling and BOOM went the input

Usually when a T case goes it will be dramatic.

I believe Garrett had an issue like this long ago. Broke something in the trans going over a corrugated section of bridge.

I think you might be on the right track with the t-case, did you say that the rear output will not turn, ever? like, in reverse, neutral or drive? if so you have at least t-case issues and maybe transmission issues. does the front shaft turn by hand when you are not in 4wd and with hubs unlocked?

If the truck does not roll when in park, how could the transfer case be at fault???

I thought I read that the rear shaft came out over the "bump" and that the front shaft may have been freewheeling. I guess we'll see. if park was actually holding the truck like it's supposed too, then I'd agree that it's probably farther up in the driveline, such as the converter as bts suspects.

and the verdict issssss snaped intermediate shaft after David looked at torque converter i called Chris and brian and told him the case. End of story BTS is sending one, so i can race at Truck nationals this weekend. I wanna Thank David Lott, Chris Buhidar, And Brian Thompson. I would recomend all three of them. There are all great people to deal with.

How the ***k does a bts just bust apart going over an intersection? Did you jump the mothereffer and not let off the throttle? This doesnt make one bit of sense....:lookaround:

It happens. If it was spinning and stopped abruptly... IE; catching air under the back tires.
