Ordered the Z36 HD Powerstop Brake setup for the front of my truck and 2 front Rancho RS9000xl shocks. Looking forward to getting them installed.

Think I'll order some differential fluid, too. Not that I can change it for a couple months, lol

Ordered gear lube "Severe Gear" from Amsoil for both differentials, as well as a bit of Synthetic ATF, enough to convert the PS/Hydroboost and replace the ATF in the Transfer Case.

Brought my truck in for a front end alignment. Was told I need ball joints which I'll do myself. Obviously they didn't do the alignment but charged me for it anyhow. That's my fault I guess. Through this i found out my local Ford dealer charges 256.00 bucks an hour for diesel service and 128.00 for everything else. Lol

I'd call Ford and complain about that....that is absolutely outrageous.

Ford said they can charge what ever they want because they are independently owned and operated. It honestly doesn't matter to me either way as I do most of my work myself. It just caught me off gaurd

I think it's a requirement to say ball joints are bad when getting an alignment. Everyone I know that's tried to get one done, that's what they've told them out the gate. Told me that with my 04...Gateway quoted me $1000 to replace both uppers and lowers. I went homw, changed them myself, went back a week later for the alignment, and guess what they told me? "Sir your ball joints are bad". This time quoted me $1250. Told them to eff off and have never been back.

I just told them I can't afford to pay someone else to do something I can do in a few hours. So I went and picked up the ball joints and will knock those out next week. I won't be going back to Ford since they raised their alignment price from 60 to 90 bucks. Writer gave me today's phucking for the 60 she quoted me the other day.

Tried to install an EGT sensor. Apparently I didn't use enough anti-seize on the plug when I put it in 6,000 miles ago. Will. Not. Budge...even after soaking with PB Blaster. Broke an Allen wrench...or two. Now I either get to buy another block off set or hope someone has just the one plate laying in the corner they need to get rid of.

Gave it a bath and quick Interior wipe down for the first time since sometime around Thanksgiving. I feel bad for neglecting the ole girl for so long.

Drilled out plug. Got a bit over zealous with the bit size. Now trying to figure out WTF I'm gonna do.

Installed Carli 2.5" springs and Bilstein shocks. Will tackle the rear tomorrow....errrr this afternoon.

That's the plan for today. Just need to figure out what size and get the right tap. Why can't things ever be easy...

I guess I shouldn't gripe. Installing the front leveling coils and associated crap went really smooth. Hope the back and centering the steering wheel goes as well.

Rear blocks in. Waiting on the other shock to arrive. Didn't get to the drilling, tapping, and bushing install for the EGT probe, or straightening the steering wheel. That ****'ll have to wait until Monday or Tuesday. Valentine's Day tomorrow and I'm hoping my bride has plans to try and seduce me.
