Did ball joints and brakes. Decided to try out some EBC slotted rotors for the hell of it since I got a good deal on them.

Sounds fun. Where did you happen to get your rotors from? I'm looking at a full brake job in the near future and am between the EBC slotted and Raybestos r300.

Ohhhhh fun lol....were they frikkin rust welded in?

Luckily they weren't since they were already replaced not long ago. Which was also unlucky that they failed early, they were oem ones. Although I think accidentally going air born in the dunes last September probably had a little something to do with that LOL. I decided to try the XRF ones this go around. Did my brother's right around the same time with XRF and his are still going strong with a lift, more tire, and also going air born in the dunes.

Best price I found was from partsgeek for the set(yes I know not a sponsor, but with saving for a trans I gotta save somewhere). Free shipping to boot and they were to my door step in 2 days. Can't really give any feedback on braking yet since all I did was drive it to get the coating off and bed the pads. And supposed to take it easy for the first 1,000 miles.

Awesome! I'm wanting to upgrade from my 20x10's on 35x12.5 to the spec of yours. Any lift? I've already got bilstein 3100 leveling springs and shocks.

I had the same set up in my 6.0, my 6.0 was higher, I never had any issues with oncoming traffic, I even did my own drive by with my wife, I was in her car she was in my truck and it wasn't an issue. People with high beams were way worse even while I wad in my truck.

The only HID's I've seen in a reflector bowl that don't glare are the factory ones in my aviator. But every other yaahoo that throws in this pnp HID garbage are always blinding the hell out of me.

Just finished pulling the rear flat leafs out, gave it a nice 1" drop. Rides much better now too!

New brakes tomorrow...
