Took my rusty pro-rack off and some back window stickers. Also installed new front springs and all new shocks.

Changed the oil, first time in a while it hasnt been due to a failure of some sort, I actually made it 5000 miles. Lol

I've changed a trans with the truck on a set of ramps up front. More than once actually. Anything is possible with enough determination.

I did that to get the trans under the frame. The sled I built for the jack allows me to put the trans and transfer case in together. Makes it easier.

me and Diesel23 had to put 1 foot worth of blocks atop the trans jack to get his trans back in the 6.4 big truck, lololol. exact opposite you guys have had huh

Before, during, and after.
Pretty pleased with how it turned out.

Had to run it through the car wash after my buddy slid his taco off the trail and into a salt marsh. Waded out to him, hooked up and dragged him out in 4lo. That's enough offroading for the year. I hate salt.

Where i come from, the guy who gets stuck is the one who gets dirty hooking the truck up...

He actually had hooked the strap up and tossed it to dry (well solid, everything was pretty wet) land but I wanted to double check. Don’t want a busted strap (or worse, the hook) coming back at me.

It was only up to almost the top of my boots so I stayed fairly clean and dry.

I think I should at least send him an invoice for the car wash, now that I think about it
