Well I did already htink, I have a blow through carb... and a big blower that will mount to any small block ford...

Why not stick a little 302 in it with like 4-5 lbs of boost and drive it around like that...

not like my race car is geting an engine any time soon on a college budget...

Taking donations for shocks and springs now :D

Got another window net kit too. I will beable to use the spring loaded part to the bottom of the net and have a totally removeable window net in a matter of 2 seconds. Spring loaded top and bottom! Need to beable to remove it quickly so I can still street drive the thing and not have to mess with nuts and bolts.

and actually Shocks and springs showed up today. I got the lower coil over brackets welded on and made sure they fit. Tomorrow they will go on for good and then the car is going back on the ground.

Then the roof will start going on finally. Itll look like a real car again!

(I have 800 bucks in the shocks and springs, and I have a fox body mustang I paid 100 bucks for complete minus a motor and tranny)

look's great, but you might want to reinforce the vertical rod on the shoot... add a gusset or another bracket to the trunk... that's going to be a ton of pull on that pipe. you will either rip it off or horseshoe it... if it doesn't do it the first time you open it i'll be surprised...

The only pull that the pack mount bar gets is wind resistance, the tether is attached to the bottom piece which is what matters on forces.

Also if the car starts going 160+ I'll have to put a wing on the car and it'll direct the air above the pack mount.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

Im really happy how the front subframe bars came out. Car is really really stiff. It is no longer a death trap.

Here are finished pictures of the back end too.

Inspector said he really thought it looked nice and was well built.

It looks like the car and he didn't even realize that the roof had been off.

Now to save up for the engine combo to stick in it!
