I just got my aFe stage 2 intake installed and im not sure if that is what im hearing.

If i gun it and then let off the throttle fairly quickly most of the time it makes a fluttery thumping sounds like its coming from the front left side of the truck.

Not sure if its something to be concerned about.

It's called turbo flutter, or a turbo "fart." Nothing to be worried about.

guess the stock intake was muffling it more than the new one

Ok so i have 62 psi then when wot it drops to 52 psi

You'll hear the term turbo bark, or barking the turbo too. Thats the sound your hearing, it's not a problem until you break the turbo shaft.

got my tune and great on power. For everyday driving the shifting seems a little weird but not bad just jumpy. The only thing is it is killing my mpg. I was at 19 mpg now 12mpg. for sct extreme to slr+
