Lance...how old were the casserly 200/75's then? How are the RCD hybrids holding up with oil dilution...is that not a problem anymore?

Im pretty sure Mike changes his oil ALOT for that very reason when/if he drives the 6l.

I was just curious because Warren's hybrids and Industrials hybrids don't dilute. Was wondering if RCD is using the same injector bodies.

200's were a few years old.

Tyler (the inj builder for RCD) told me there are several sets of RCD hybrids running around with no oil dilution issues reported. RCD is machining my stock bodies into hybrids (new barrels, plungers, machined intensifier pistons, etc)

Im not knowledgeable on 6l goings on. I talk to Mike(hostile diesel) occasionally and he mentioned it as something that needs to be watched. Im not the definitive source.of.info though. I just answered because I.recalled what Id heard. Ill go back to listening instead of.talking. :D

it is something that needs to be watched yes but i haven't heard of any issues with any recent sets. guess we'll see.

edit...just talked to Mike. he said he was having issues with his 225 conventionals, not his hybrids.

I do change my oil alot LOL, the dillution really isn't that bad I made it to kansas and back with the hybrids and when I got back home the oil still looked fine. My old 225s dillute more than my 285s.

Matt I'm sure there is a slight difference in how our trucks are used LOL. mine runs errands, hot rods up the highway on ramp, and makes an occasional trip (maybe 5 per year) down the track. yours raced and had the sh*t sprayed out of it right?

either way...I hoping i have a Monday rotating assembly and not a Friday. afternoon one haha

quick update...hybrids have been in for about a week. they start and idle perfectly. run super smooth. they actually smoke less than my old 200's did. I had matt tweak the tuning just a bit for shifting and turned off the adaptive learning function in the TCM. lockup is a tad earlier as well. the extra fuel spins these turbos really well...makes boost extremely fast on the street (see vids in non vgt sticky) and still pull hard. smoke is still barely a haze under moderate throttle. finally got the chance to give it the beans today...spiked 4.65 volts of ICP and held over 4.5!!!! so pumped that they're maintaining oil pressure. this thing effing pulls at WOT too. super stoked with the new setup! Matt @ Gearhead and the guys at RCD have really dialed this thing in pretty well.
