I was going to dyno at the NADM event in Denton a few weeks ago, already paid and in line but a dodge a couple spots in front of me spewed oil all over the equipment and it never read consistently after that. one of the guys from Dan's Diesel (guys running the sled) told me to save my money for another time. then I was going to dyno at Worlds in Ennis but was screwing around in the pits too long and the line got about 20 trucks deep. plus I'm apparently not a baller like Gare and Mikey so I couldn't cut the line.......TWICE LOL. i'll get it on soon though. trans goes in next week, then I hope to have Matt tweak it in the next month or so. runs great so far....could use some more fuel and oil though.

update....FINALLY got the Warren diesel trans in today. Took it to my buddy Mat Chappell at Mad Matt's Diesel Performance in Ft. Worth and we popped it in. the unit has all new steels, HD clutch packs, billet input, and billet triple disk converter. this thing bangs gears hard...shifts fast and firm. no flaring or slipping at WOT. shifts points are still perfect, no hunting for gears or anything. the shift lever will stick in gear every once in a while but I can tinker with the shifter to get that worked out. one downside is that now that I'm transferring more power to the ground, its putting even more load on the HPOP. spiked at 4.7 volts then dropped to about 3 volts at WOT lol. ***in HEUI. guess i'll put a fresh pump in and it will be ready to rip. I'm hoping to get to a 1/4" mi next week to see what it will put down even on the weak pump. anxious to put some miles on it now.

Good stuff!! Can't wait to see what it does in the quarter, finally makes all the wait and trouble worth it!

I've noticed today that it's spooling quite a bit better on the street with the tighter converter.

Steve....I've already said I'm the best parking lot racer around. and you're a rubber penis.

factory stall has been known to vary on some trucks...anywhere from 1600-1800. Lance, what converter did you end up going with. How much was the trans build from Warren?

Ok...got a couple hundred miles on the trans. Still working great...shifts nice and firm and no slips. as far as the converter goes, I never heard what stall it was exactly but best I can tell it's around 2200-2300.

If anyone is planning on buying a new unit, might want to at least give Andy at Warren Diesel a shout. good pricing and the trans seems to be very stout. I know he is currently working on a website specifically for his transmissions so I'll keep everyone posted.

Ok...pulled the injectors and sent them off to RCD to be made into 255/100 hybrids. Got a call from Tyler today with some interesting news...apparently what I've thought we're 190/100's all this time are actually 200/75's. so now I have to buy a new set of ****ing 100 nozzles for the hybrids. This is turning into an expensive swap....
