Well looks like we solved both of those problems. Thanks Sak for the track bar suggestion. Retorqued the track bar bolts and that fixed the steering play and then retorqued all the bolts with traction bars and now we're all good.

But since we are on the problem solving trail figured I'd ask one more question about my truck. I noticed when I turn the wheel slightly left there is this squeaking....it sounds like rubbing....but when i turn the wheel more it goes away. Any thoughts?

Check the air dam on your front bumper. Sometimes the tire will catch the very corner with a slight turn but a more aggressive turn will turn past the corner.

Wasn't the air dam. But I am wondering if its my brakes....they are acting very squirrely. I bled the brakes after installing the lift as the directions called for. And the brake pedal was very stiff but seems to get mushy over a days drive. Yesterday I noticed the brakes starting to squeak occassionally. Seemed very odd. So bled the brakes again just to see if I got same results. Stiff initially, then mushy after about 10 miles of stop and go and started to squeak.

Any thoughts? I initially thought the brake bleeder valves were not on tight enough but they are on tight...so perhaps I screwed those up and need to replace? Or where should I start looking?
