Who sells reman axles?

had a wheel bearing take a **** and eat up the spindle on a dana 80 and im having a hard time find a place that sells reman axle assemblies so does anybody know of a company that does?

i don't know of a place that sells reman axles but when i broke one of mine i bought chrome molly axles from Mitchel differential in mass for less than 1/2 the price of a new stock from ford

Maybe Dana crate axle. They sell entire units but might try calling them and see.

i called dana crate yesterday and they tried to give me the run around and then it was call this guy and when I called said guy it ended up being disconnected... If I knew of a dealer around here id have them price one up but I dont think their is one anyway somebody can check a price for me thru them?

Well that stinks. Can you have a machine shop fix it? Chase down a salvage yard unit?

ill give those 2 a shot in the mornin tom thanks. They want around 1000 around here to weld up a new spingle and they want it off the truck and dissassembled. Salavage yards say 2,000 for a complete one but at that price i feel like id feel alot better about it just paying a litte extra for something pretty much new with atleast somewhat of a warrenty thats only reason i was kind of figuring reman or direct from dana

I thought I lost My sterling when an oil slinger disintegrated and took out a bearing and seal

I had it apart and saw the glitter in the oil and the spindle damage ,,


I buttoned it up and sent it to the shop so the extended warranty would cover it but Strictly Diesel didn't see a gig prob with the spindle damage and just replaced parts and oil .. it's been fine for 20k or more

Thanks guys looks like I'm having the guy from axle surgeons come out and weld on a new spindle Ganna cost 1100 bucks lifetime garuntee and he's coming from Peoria about hour and half from me for that price I can't complain

yea for sure it does suck its quiet a bit of money to shell out for what it is im just happy itll be back on the road soon thou
