Xl headlight upgrade?

I bought some smoked eBay headlights and they bolt in place but I'm assuming there's a different wiring piece for the bottom light to replace the sealed beam's 3 prong connector? Can anyone post pics or info on where this can be purchased?

What type of bulb does your new headlights take? You will need that connector. The sealed beam lights have the same plug as a H4 bulb I believe.

If it's a 9008 bulb, you can buy the connector ends from Ford. I believe they are expensive though. Replaced one once at the dealer I worked at because the clip had broken. It was $120 or something like that. It was in Canada though.

When I did mine the sealed bulb connector wouldn't work. I bought the 9008 pigtail from O'Reilly and used a multimeter to find polarity. Also the side marker light didn't have any where to go. So its ziptied out of the way

Does anyone have pics of the back side of the headlights? The pair I ordered don't have an actual socket or anything on the bottom part of the light.

should just be able to buy some H13 sockets and pigtails and wire them into the truck.

as far as I know H13 and 9008 are one in the same? I can tell you I am 100% sure 08-10 trucks take H13 headlight bulbs unless they are sealed beam like you had.

any parts store can order you the pig tails to make it work doesn't have to be ford I know our autozone etc sells them
