I turned off the system the last few times in the truck last night and this am, and I haven't gotten the noise to come back. Thank you for the help guys. It is kind of annoying, but I guess I'll have to live with it.
On my 2015 I occasionally hear a front end noise. It is a clicking/grinding noise. It reminds me of the sound when you engage the lockers. It only happens if I give the truck some gas from a stand still while on an up hill grade. Anyone one have an idea of what it could be? 2015 F350 srw cclb...
So they have some road noise. Its to be expected, just didn't know how bad it would be. What draws me to them is their weight. They are lighter than most tires when comparing sizes. Less weight, less rolling mass.
I am interested in these tires for the new truck. I have run Hankook Dynapros for my last two sets, but their tire sizes don't fit what Im looking for in this truck. Anyone have any real mileage on the new R/T's? How quiet are they, wearing well, and do they handle speed well?
I got 37k out of my first set, and sold my 08 with the second set on them. The second set had 40k and were due to be replaced but still had plenty of tread to be safe. Regular towing with 7k trailer.
