Reviving an old thread here but I am wondering if anyone else has recommendations between the ridge and the exo. I am at the end of life of my trail grapplers. I currently have 35x12.5x20's and am likely getting the same size. I live in Canada so a little better winter performance is good. One...
I have been wanting to get this setup for a while now. I have the carli pintop 2.5" kit with full leaf upgrade and have not been impressed thus far. I believe it is because of the way my bags are set up.
I am wanting to lose some weight soon and was thinking of using the short resonator. Will it kill much of the sound at idle? This is my biggest concern as I felt like an @$$hole firing up my previous 6.7 straight piped in the mornings. Or would I need a muffler to go along with it?
So I am getting ready do lose some weight on my 2016 f350. I was looking at a kit from ppei and it includes an air dog lift pump. They recommend it for the 230hp tune. Anyone have experience with this? Is the lift pump really needed? Trying to price this all out and really don't want to spend...
The weight advantage as they say and also the duramax likely has 3:73's while you are likely 3:55. Not a game changer but it helps. Damn I wish ford would give us a better gear ratio from factory.
Well ****... If a 250 can tow a fifth wheel with 3600lb pin weight, who needs a 350 or 450?! You could likely tow a 100ft yacht with your 450 provided the weight transfer is correct of coarse.
No gvwr means the total your truck can weigh with a load. So the weight of your truck (8400) plus your load (3600) is your gvwr. So again you are 2100 over your gvwr.
No he's right. Your gvwr is 9900lbs and your truck weighs 8400lbs. Therefore your payload (hitch weight) can only be 1500lbs or less. So you are 2100lbs over. Not even close
I know that it will pull it. I pulled a 14k fifth wheel with my 2011 f250 with airbags and it was fine. However, I was slightly over my allowable payload and the thought of having no insurance on my truck or trailer if I had a wreck was not worth it. I just upgraded to a 350 for this reason...
