Just one question on your hiems for the traction bar above the rear axle. Hiems should allow for some movement, with the way it looks in the pic they won't move at all. Sandwiched in there, no misalignment spacers. They would make it possible to get movement.

i was running an intake swapped from another truck at the time. When i went back to the stock MAF sensor and Mikes intake the problem disappeared.

Glad to hear it. I got sidetracked and forgot about your post running 2:1 at that high of boost and EBP isn't optimal....and no doubt about the No Limits CAI...their stuff is like a sore pet#r.

thank you for the observation. Can you tell me a little bit more about those misalignment spacers and where they fit?

They go on the outside of the heim, between the brackets. It would go bracket, spacer, heim, spacer, bracket. The allow the heim to move in it's full range of motion.

Garrett

probably getting paid at work to post this from my bionic

I am running both of those. The coolant filter was just for piece of mind, and after having the motor ripped apart a few times it may have helped out. The trans filter I use came from Suncoast I believe. Like having the extra filtration on a piece that gets the chit kicked out of it.

i just hooked up to my trailer for the first time since i put the ladder bars on and it not only hits the bars but bows them. is it a problem to flip them over for more clearance?
what have others done in the same situation?

I haven't heard anything good about them in our type of trucks. 1:1 is preferred, so pretty much whatever your peak boost is, but I think 70 is mentioned with stock internals. But not sure

Thanks Erik,

i assume you meant nothing good about the bars on our trucks....

thx for the info on the wg, do you mean 70 absolute (so roughly 85 on the mm)?

I personally always get those screwed up. Yeah so if adding the pressure for your altitude it would equal 85 if that makes sense.

Don't think those bars handle our type of power and torque well. If they are flexing I would find a stronger alternative for sure

the only issue with these bars is they hit the springs which sucks because i tow a fair bit.

i am trying to understand about the waste-gate setup but i am struggling a bit....
what springs should be installed in the precision 46mm gate and will i need any other hard parts to make it work?

can someone school me on wastegate setup?

Mike Haller pretty much set mine up and he has a big brain when it comes to this. Others here understand it all better than me. lol
