you definitly have the fuel to make over 600hp and i'm not doubting that you didn't make that much. Nice run tho. Did you replace the boot and do another run?

yup it worked

ok cool, does that give you a better idea? you can hear the boot rip on the first nitrous run (second pull) first was fuel only, second i blew the boot, then nitrous backfire, then third pull

no not that day, i was ready to park her for the day after the backfire lol

Works for me.
First pull sounded good, but the next two, you could tell it had a bad boost leak.

You can even hear the turbo lighting before the heavy fueling starts...

yup. haha i probably would've felt the same after the backfire lol. I know i need more fuel...eric even told me that my setup could make 600hp as long as i had the fuel to do so and that would be the limiting factor. Well, fuel was the limiting factor for sure.

i just parked my truck earlyer this week for my compound build (66batmowheel and an s483 batmowheel). i think im selling my 225's, looking at some big hybrids(305-340).

Put a set of 175cc with 100 over stix in the dually. With a 62 and a 71 twins I still have smoke left. Gonna have to dyno the new setup.

very nice Shawn. didn't you just go from 225/100% to 205/100% injectors? You switched again haha? I'm assuming the 100% nozzles fuel a whole lot more than say the 75% ones right? I really wonder how much more HP my truck will make with the 100% nozzles over the 75% ones.

i'm goin back to 205's next spring or sooner, theres a guy up[ here that tow upward of 20,000lbs lots, hes looking for 500-550hp some what smoke free, so i've been trying different setups trying to get there, in overdrive at 1800-2000rpm converter locked in overdrive i can make 40psi boost, love the way the new setup pulls, however i miss the s480 and 205s lol

shawn how was egt and boost with the 225's and 480 at around 70 in full lockup? im just trying to figure close to what mine is going to be.

That was the whole point of this thread, so guys can read what others are actually makeing for hp. There's been just way to much crap being thrown around on psn and the org about inflated hp #s. For example Frank put 180s and a powermax on and he's selling his truck cause its not what a 6.4 is on a max tune. Which makes 550. One maker which way you slice it a powermax and 190s won't make 550hp. Now some guys with 62,64 non vgts are making 550 with track times/mph to back it.


Don't be shy guys, this thread isn't to discredit anyone. We have all been disappointed with dyno/track #s. So share so others can see what is working

did not got a chance to dyno the truck yet but it is freakish the way it pulls.
Last tuesday I replaced the U-joint in the back it failed after the first try to see what she can do :wtf: 47$ and an hr. of work she is back and I keep it low to not break anymore stuff, btw. the boost was just around 24psi.

sounds like it runs pretty good with the 175/100's then. Vids are always good...put Tyler to work lol

With 190 75s, completely stock fuel system, and elite ssx the Harley put down 544/977 on dunbars.
