Is that 3" or 4" piping? Can't tell because those turbos are so huge! I assume you'll run a blanket on that turbo so you're not heating that air pipe?

dont worry that is the first thing we check when we are thinking about a potential location. with it at that location the tree would have to be like 4' in front of the car and at eye level. I think it will be just fine.

Its definitely yellow and definitely not staying that color LOL

there was a lot of talk about the location on my face book.

Basically there just isnt room for anything else. I originally wanted it to make a turn and come out in front of the tire. But In order to make that happen I would have to make a tight pie cut bend and then like 4 other bends in close proximity and that still may not have worked. Also there isnt enough clearance to go up and over the strut mount and the hood to have it come out behind the tire. (see pictures)

im hoping that with it being such a straight shot the velocity will help keep the exhaust up and away from the car as much as possible. The color will be black or dark gray so it really wont matter anyway.

Tight radius 270 degrees back to the front of the car maybe?

Are you going to have a bellow or expansion joint in the intake for when the frame flexes?

That's just to much bends plus there isn't room for that. Decided we are just going up and out the hood. Not going to sacrifice performance for looks. I'm confident I'll be able to make it look good.

No. There Arnt any that I would feel comfortable with considering the pressures this is going to see. The chassis is more solid that one in a truck. And the motor is hard mounted to the chassis. The Chargers are being mounted with bushings to eliminate any differences in vibration between the motor and chassis to hopefully eliminate any cracking in the headers. Charge pipes use slip fit o ring flanges and they have give in them. Not worried about the charge side at all.
