I have always wondered why so many people go the 250 route vs the 350?? They used to be pretty much the same price.

Springs are the same

However for 2011 up the overload springs aren't available on the f250 without a Camper package.

That seems extreme. I know they softened the springs on the new trucks for ride quality but this is too much. 250 or 350 should not be squatted that much. Ive honestly never seen one that bad, and Ive hauled some serious loads before. With a 250 and 350.

Springs are not the same they just don't put as many springs as they used too the went to thicker springs. They still hold weight well but they squat still. My uncles '11 squats with a 4 horse with two 4 ft midtacks. Seems like fords doin it to make you buy the bigger trucks lol he even has the dually. My bosses both have the 450s and they rarely squat.

I'd be much happier with buying a good riding truck and a kit (airbags) to level it when loaded than having a truck with a springs setup to keep it from squating and having a mule and wagon ride when unloaded

I have ti agree with you on that. And I'm betting the load it takes to squat that much would squat any truck to the point of air bags

Agreed
My GMC 2500 HD would squat the same if not more than My F250

Bags are just the best way to go both My trucks had them after the first time I loaded em up and saw the squat LOL
