I bet the 6.7 pulled and handled the load way better even squatting like that. Like I said toss some airbags under it and problem solved these trucks pull great

It was like riding a bucking bronco thru San Antonio.

It did pick up speed a little quicker but thats about it.

Probably because it was on the bump stops. I just made a 750 mile trip towing 15,000 lbs and I just left the cruise set on 70 for most of the trip. Never got hot and hardly every down shifted pulling up hills.

I would be curious what the door sticker says too, I didn't think you could get a super duty as light as 9,900, I figured they were all over 10k and this option was to reduce them to 10k but I guess I was wrong.

I know my 05 F350 long bed is 11,500 on the door and has overloads and I think the 6.0 short beds are 11,400?

Sagging that bad I would honestly wonder if the truck had some broken leafs, thats the only time I have seen one sag that badly.

6.0 shortbeds are either 8800 or 9900 in the 250s and 350 SRWs

My truck as the 10,000lb package it is just a sticker for licensing in different states, no different than a truck with 11,500 except the sticker. Mine has overloads on it.

That is what I always assumed was the case, makes sense too.

Here in MA, if the truck is over 10k GVWR, or has 5 or more wheels, then it is required to register commercial. Some get around this, but as I understand it is how the books are written.

So instead of $25 a year for a passenger registration, and a $29 annual inspection fee, you have to register by weight, which for my 11,500 truck is $220 for the year, and usually $70-120 ($29+ 1 hour shop time) for a DOT level inspection. So in MA, getting that 10k package can be pretty useful.

Mine has the 10k GVWR and does not have overloads. I think they only come with over loads if you have the Camper Package. Mine came with 20's stock FWIW
