Do you plan on gating completely around the stock chargers once you put fuel in the truck to drive the atmo and keep stress off of the stockers?

Mike -didn't he have a small shot on that truck ? JW

I am also wondering the same....but i feel like if gated properly that it will be able to last a while. but the horn on the compressor is going to rear its head one day i am sure.

I wanted to do the tests the same is the reason for the same tune no added fuel or lift pump. There seems to be to many things that can vary when everyone is going for times to go faster. But that was not the point of what we were trying to see. we can make the truck faster with more fuel if we want i just wanted to see what "in stock form" how the truck would handle pushing the Atmo, and if it would gain anything all conditions being the same. With that being said we have noticed a big drop in egt's from 1750* or so down to 1440*this is on your out of the box 300 tune at WOT down the track. So since I like my pistons and valves and heads :) I feel like we are heading in a good direction. I did not want someone to buy the kit and not enjoy any gains on stock fuel truck. The plans for the truck is 100% nozzles and fuel system and transmission along with valve spings and dual fuel setup. Again this is just a stepping stone as someone is planning on adding power in the future. Hope this helps everyone understand on what our goal is. I knew we were not going to set the world on fire on stock fuel.Wanted to make sure test were consistent as i could keep them and go from there. Now in a few weeks we can add some fuel but gonna need tires to stick to the track first LOL.

No what in saying is, I think, wait... I know that the stock VGT is holding the setup back, and will hold it back until its replaced with an upgrade of some form or another. JD's truck is down an easy 30-40hp right now with this same situation using the stock VGT and drop in 76mm. Also, I think the setup you have is gonna do much better as a tow-power upgrade for customers. As it sits with stock turbos in conjunction, it's not doing anything really more than a 72mm atmo does. If that's your price point then Id say go for it. If not, you may want to rethink it a hair. Then again, I've never built triples or turbos so really you can just tell me to be quiet and sit in the corner as well lol. Just offering up my input to you fellas. I think it'll work awesome with the right size of stock turbos.

ill bet he can make a good bit more power with stock VGT. but how he goes about driving and gating each turbo is a BIG part. thats where the rubber meets the road. as it sits, this setup seems weaker than a tune only truck JMO

Hmm... My brothers truck is an 08 ecsb and it runs 13.3@101.. same tune also.... Maybe you guys have better air than we do LOL IDK . What are u guys seeing for times ???? and I dont mean stock turbos on spray and lift pump or anything els . " I MEAN STOCK" tune exhaust and intake that is it" I would like to stay on track since this post is now turning into a who's truck is faster ... lol .I also looked at the logs from the other day and rail was at 22k-23k so maybe this has a lil to do with things . We will put lift pump on and try some more . For my reg cab guys show me some slips and mods on your truck please . Thanks guys !

My reg cab with spartan 310, intake and delete pipe went 12.53 at 106. That was at 7240 lbs. That was on stock transmission. If I remeber right all those 12.1-12.3 reg cabs had a built transmission. I switched to innovative tunes and ran a 12.47 at 108 but it hurt the stock converter on that run.

Guys with what files ???Jeff I know what your customers use .Mike hbu??? I am comparing apples to apples here not changing files then go to the track with the addition of the kit . Again these are canned H&S files untouched In both trucks.

And guys with regular H&S files give me your input please. thanks

i ran similar times with the 310 and the innovative x race. all were pretty consistent, i just liked the shifting better on the innovative.

OK thank you. So the gains are the same as the atmo it seems like . There is a lot more to be gained in trans tuning to get the truck going faster . Tunes will be changed soon enough. Along with fuel mods to go with this to actually use all the air that is there.

You should deff be able to run some more fuel. I would like to see it run on stock fuel with a little more aggressive tuning. Like a race tune from innovative or gearhead. To see where it's at on stock fuel.
