Could be, it is a glow**** gauge. In the summer it comes up to about 120-130* in short trips. And around 140 and up to 160 in hour trips or longer.

Yeah, mine settles in at right around 198-202* after a few minutes at 75mph unloaded.
Where do you have your temperature sensor? Might have something to do with it.

I'm not sure what my coolant temp is, but in the winter my oil temp won't even get off the low mark which is 100*. In the summer the highest I've seen my oil temp is 160*

No way that's right. Your truck would run like chit if that were the case.

Here is after the trucks been running for 40 minutes at and 50-65mph for about 20 minutes. Which I just got done doing.

Where is your sensor? Sorry buddy but that is not right, your truck would run like ass with oil temps less then 100*.

I put my trans probe in where there is a port plug on the driver side. Is that an ok spot to read temp?

My probe is on the driver side I'm the block right above the oil pan. They are glow shift gauges, and I don't have a picture currently
