Auto lock hub bearing
My 2002 was a piece of cake to convert over to the warns but I REALLY hate them now that my kids moved out..... Wasnt that bad before since I made them lock and unlock the hubs. Now I have to get out and do it. So I may put the auto lockers back in.. and yes, I am really that damn lazy :) -
installed HID kits in my projector headlights and cant get low beam
You should power the hids from the battery directly and switch them with the feed from the bulbs wires. Never try to power hids directory from the headlight bulbs sockets.- crowz

New Tires Interco SS M16s 295/75R16
I dont have any of the noise problems mentioned a bunch in here on my tires but Im wondering if its because mine are 295/75's and maybe the ones with noise are from the wires being wider on the version they went with? Mines stops great in the rain and mud and Ive driven 3 times or so in snow...- crowz

That dash looks like someone spray painted it black or something. Ive seen a truck like that in mint condition and that one is really rough interior wise compared to it. -

I guess I was one of the first on here to get the m16's and so far they have done great. Lately they are starting to get a bit uneven in the tread blocks. Ive got about 25 or 30k miles on them. 2013 navigation problems......
Stand alone gps units are completely uneffeced by tire size but some in dash stereo/nav units will record pulses from the abs or speed sensors and then use them when gps isnt available. Pioneer for one can do this. So Im wondering if the factory nav is doing the same thing thus clearing it by...- crowz

Well I failed royally. I go the foil wrapped around the plate and got it back together but it still just twitches and wont lock and unlock on its own. So I guess its new lock motors for the excursion. If I was 20 years younger it wouldnt of been as bad just the rod locks and stuff are hard to...- crowz

Power door lock foil fix redux....
So far Im 3 hours into the drivers door. Yeah JUST the drivers door of my wifes excursion. I have sucessfully removed the power door lock motor via mangling the 2 metal rivets and the case where they went thru. That video posted in this section made it look sooooo easy :( Im getting to old...- crowz

Mobil 1 5W40 users.
Mine had rotella for 260,000 miles or something. No blowby problems or anything. The advantage I got from switching to synthetic is smoother idle, quicker response to throttle and cold starts are great. It just runs better. I think it would be fine if I kept running rotella dino oil in it as far... -

coil front end conversion for 99-04
Ok dumb question, whats the advantage to converting over to a coil front end? My dodge drives like crap compared to my superduty (I know apples to oranges) and the dodge is a coil solid axle and my superduty is leaf springs. Just curious.- crowz

2013 navigation problems......
Since the radios are sent down the line not really knowing what they will be installed into gear wise Im hoping that master reset your mentioning or disconnecting the battery will make it relearn the current setup for the folks that went larger tires.- crowz

I dont want to give the impression Im saying dont adjust steering boxes or something like that. Ive adjusted over 150 or more cars and trucks and Ive only had one failure personally. Weird steering issue?
Cost me : $345 for the box $1 enviromental regulation expense-hazmat disposal (No clue what this was for but its on the receipt) $200 core charge $32 shipping $578 total Then I got the $200 back when I set the old box back to them so $378 in the end. -
