I ran out of ***ks to give on this one. A 6L guy giving oil.advice in a 7.3L thread. Yep, pretty worthless thread for anybody who is actually searching for info.
Run what ya want. Ill stick to mine thats for sure. After getting a look at the inside of my 265k mile motor and its clean, sparkling, and the cylinder walls appear to be about 10k miles past assembly condition, obviously my methods are proving to constitute a long running, lasting motor. My injectors, stock ones, are still good. All my stock parts I still have are in good condition.
Whatever you do keep your oil changed. A stock truck will in fact run fine on just about any oil especially following the 3k mile drain intervals.

I had mt engine apart at 206,000 miles. It had RT5 oil all its life till around 195,00 when I went to the RT6. It was shine clean to. The cross hatch looked very good yet. O I and the engine still does not burn oil and really has no blow by to speak of.
Mine had rotella for 260,000 miles or something. No blowby problems or anything. The advantage I got from switching to synthetic is smoother idle, quicker response to throttle and cold starts are great. It just runs better. I think it would be fine if I kept running rotella dino oil in it as far as lasting. But I like the way it runs on the synthetic is why I run the synthetic. Not becomes I think the dino oil is killing my engine. Im at 330k now and doing fine.
You really are too stupid for your own good. If you weren't blinded by your own ignorance, you would see that I don't even own a 6.0L, but instead I own a 6.4L. I was simply making a point that the 6.0L relies on high quality oil to keep the spool valves happy, and many people have had outstanding results with T6. If its excellent in a 6.0L, it's more than sufficient for a 7.3L.
Wait, isn't that the same truck that you ran Rotella in for so long? LOL Must not be so "horrible" after all.
Wham, bam, thank you ma'am.
I still wanna see one run for 3k on salad oil...
you'll gain nothing from switching to synthetic.
Then why are you posting in a 7.3 thread?
Crowz truck was stock last I remembered...whats your point? He probably changed his oil every 3k. Again, that has nothing to do with your point. You know nothing about rotella remember? You only run t6. You may agree with his post but it doesnt bolster anything you.said.
Last time dumb***k, i ran rotella for about 100k in a 7.3. If you are referring to crows truck.again, he CHANGED his oil because he heard there was better oil. He switched and didnt go back because the rotella was inferior to valvoline extreme blue 5w40.
:moron:
I really dont.care what you drive, nor do I intend to look around to investigate it. Lets hear some more of that bigmouth that supercedes your little brain.....
