Correct to a point - yes the exact volume that needs to flow out of the HPOP and into the rails and ultimately to any one injector and any given time is exactly the volume of oil the injector is consuming while injecting diesel fuel. It looks like you just need to mount and plumb things up. Block location is about where I would put it and my original intent with these blocks was to be in the middle of a cross over between the heads. Diesel fuel economy is inversely proportional to the amount of power being used - not the amount of power its capable of. The more power you use - the lower the fuel economy numbers. I wouldn't say less variables, but yes its easier to extract what you are looking for. Mostly because some of the HEUI stuff is can be counter-intuitive.- Hotrodtractor

I had to chuckle at this a little bit. I know its a completely different platform and all... but my Dmax makes 630rwhp through 37x13.50 Toyos with 1.7ms of fuel. It just goes to show how much more efficient the higher injection pressure and improved control of a common rail injection system is...- Hotrodtractor
