    Stay Away.

If they kept loosening up you have installation issues. You just proved the manufacturer's case. How did you torque them and to what torque did you take them to?

    Built motor options

That's fair if you need a long bed. I purposefully bought the short bed because it makes handling my long gooseneck trailer easier with its tighter turning radius and that was worth it to me.

    Aluminum cylinder heads..

I had to go back and look it up. West Racing. Back in 2012/2013 - and they had poor machine work with valves that didn't seal - both of which seem like solvable problems and yet they don't seem to be setting the world on fire in the 6.0/6.4 world. At the $8-10K a set I would think they would be...

    Built motor options

Not sure what I would add at this point. There is a lot of paths that could be taken. Not sure I would choose the built motor path for an occasional spurt at 550rwhp - that seems like a waste. Good compression forged rod motor with seasoned head gaskets and good parts/tuning will last a long...

    Aluminum cylinder heads..

Simply making the head out of aluminum doesn't do anything. A new set of HEUI heads will have to be cast not machined to have the flow rates you are looking for at a cost point worth looking at. Lets not forget the machined billet 6.0 heads that cost an arm and a leg and flow terrible. (Name...

    Fiberglass/Metal removalble front clip

That is kind of a unique little place. Its basically a mom and pop shop (right along I-70 just west of St. Louis). Their molding room for bodies is just large enough to fit one set of truck molds at a time. They seemed pretty friendly when I was there in 2008 picking up the first 2008 Chevy...

    Fiberglass/Metal removalble front clip

Even when you buy a complete body from GTS - it still comes in pieces. You might also contact US Body - they don't show anything on their website, but I know they do complete front clips for other body styles.

    New to the forums!

So wait a moment.... are you trying to sell these items? It doesn't really say that you are, but then it says you will only respond with a price and pictures in a text message.

    Have fun 7.3 guys

What's destroying it for you is stating that the pump flows more oil than it can displace for a given RPM. You can do a lot of things - but you can not defy physics. You take a pumps displacement and you can calculate the perfect flow rate at any given RPM - then you can figure out what it...

    Have fun 7.3 guys

I had to go back and re-read the thread. I see where he stated that now. Based on this.... these numbers don't jive. To get a flowrate of just 6gpm with a stock displacement pump you have to spin that pump at 3150 rpms which equates to 3950 engine rpms (numbers rounded for clarity). That is a...

It should also be noted that 400/400s have been ran on single 15 degree pumps (Charles). The main thing that it wont have is that low end torque - which I don't want or need.

They claim over 6gpm of flow - that will handle what I need it to do. particularly at the RPM I wish to run it at. They claim stock swashplate angle, not stock displacement.

    Largest turbo ran on 7.3

I'm pretty sure Travis has that record. I thought it was an HX-80 with a 92mm compressor wheel..... I could be wrong though - that was like a decade ago. lol

I have a truck sitting in the shop right now - it will fire up about mid march with 400/200s and a single turbo. After that it will probably be 400/400s and after that will be HRT specials. Somewhere in there the atmosphere charger will be added. You want a pump test and a testimonial - provide...

on board air compressor for bags AND inflating tires

I use a continuous duty VIAIR pump with a 5 gallon tank. It runs air bags via switches in the cab, air horns, and I plumbed in an aux. hookup for running an air line for airing up tires, running small tools, etc...
