    Maybe a stupid idea but why not just have the pistons machined. Shouldn't cost that much. But do still need to figure out what's going on first.

    The M100465 does nothing for whistle on a 6.0. It will be super quiet wop though. Seems almost like the more you push the throttle the quieter it gets.

    Bearings can be changed but they do need to be kept cool and a motor that puts out 15 hp costs nearly $500 from what i could tell.

    Brake Pads are not interchangeable and are smaller if I remember right. I never feel like it braked as well as the 97 brakes.

    I don't know exactly how it works but If it was only getting half the signal at 3000 rpm wouldn't the shift box only be seeing 1500 rpm? I'm wondering if it was for some reason seeing twice the signal. Maybe you have it fixed and working properly already.

    I tried calculating out the length of bar needed and have heard someone else say, i cannot remember who or where, that the bar needs to be about 12 feet long, to nearly exactly follow the arc that the axle moves back when the spring compresses.

    The problem is I believe is there are none available for sale anymore and people are scared of losing them. I could be wrong though hopefully I am.

    I personally think the vacuum brakes work wonderful, to me they seem to brake very good and are nice and firm.
