    It is by chance very humid when this occurs? Sounds a lot like poor MAF scaling in the tuning. Or a bad MAF sensor, or the vgt not actuating correctly.

    Just buy the kit from a reputable vendor and you will be sure you get all the parts. Any shade tree mechanic can do the job, it's just swapping parts...

    Upgrade? 99-10 are absolutely identical. I would say the quality is no different than 11+. Personally I would keep the body lines the same.
