    Whats your favorite welder/generator

We run some of the bigger miller air pacs and they do very well but tend to guzzle down fuel. Our older big blues with jack shaft driven compressors wil go 4 days on a tank where the airspace is good for a day and a half or so. If you need lots of air volume, air pacs are great, the newest one...

with the 1.10 on it i am fairly laggy up until about 1800. Running in the hills means alot of 4-5 shifts. this is with a standard tranny. Boost and drive are damn near 1:1 up to 60 psi. great charger, pulls HARD

    problems with s468

I've been running it for about a year now and it's seen a 60 psi guage getting pegged almost weekly. Still tight and responsive. Great cheap single for numerous hp applications from mild to wild. Worth getting it rebuilt by a reputable shop that will stand behind it

What it takes to Chip a diesel

The people telling you about the fuel pump going out are probably CR guys who have huge tunes on stock trucks and cant keep rail pressure. Check your pressure now, see what it is. If its good 60ish, throw a ts on it and youll be fine, with the 7.3s your factory pump will keep up with the tuner...

    Another ipr question

Maybe I ought to go play the lottery, cuz i didnt think these things could run without ipr lol

    Another ipr question

Was checking out the engine this evening, stuck my hand down in the valley to feel for oil/fuel leaks. Found a nut and a spacer off the ipr, truck was running just fine, no issues. Solenoid slides back and forth fine on the rod. Cleaned everything and put it back together. Curious as to how the...

oil leak after gen 3 install

check the resovoir for cracks next time you pull the pump out. If its sealing right, then either the pump or the resovoir is cracked. If your hpop is leaking in the valley it will more thank likely run out right underneath the turbo onto the bell housing above the starter.

    T4 turbos and 6 speeds

How well you like it will also depend on how and where you drive it. I live where there are quite a few hills and valleys and alot of 45-55 mph speed limits. I know in od with 3.73 and 35s I have to downshift quite a bit more than I had to with a stock truck with tunes. I'm running the 468 with...

    Srp 1.1 max

Just to clarify, it's out of it's ranger when I go 400% not with the 200%s correct?

    Srp 1.1 max

I agree as it will never empty in feasible time, the idea was to bump to 400% when the engine is built

    Srp 1.1 max

400/200 hybrids by full force with mods Matt's tuning, the street tune is the hottest I run as I have a stock bottom end and traction is an issue in every gear. (6spd) in the tow and heavy tow tune it doesn't go nearly as high, which I think makes sense and fuel is pulled back Thank you everyone...

    Srp 1.1 max

Matt, you are my tuner and I believe you told me you have the ICP pushed up to keep from hazing at idle

    Srp 1.1 max

If I have a leak won't it show up on ICP? I'm not sure what ICP is being called for but it seems to hold 3k easily. Or will the pump react fast enough to increase dc to hold an ICP leak that the ICP will hold steady? Not trying to argue with anyone here, just learning everyone's opinion Thanks

    Srp 1.1 max

Yes it makes sense thank you, I understand the way the pump works as far as it's a fixed drive speed off the rpm of the engine. I was just under the impression anything over 50 at a given time was starting to decrease pump life. I'm around 15 idle, upper 30s to 40 cruising, and almost 60 wot

    Srp 1.1 max

I believe I read somewhere before where gary( maker of pump I think) had listed a certain dc value where the pump was being worked to hard and life expectancy would be substantially shortened. I could be wrong, but I was just curious as I am seeing 55+dc
