    Definitely POS injectors. That’s what PIS should’ve been called. My 175/80’s failed in less than a year. Got FF 180/80’s and not only did the truck idle better, and smoke less, they were quieter across the board and 250k miles later, still running strong!

    My 180/80’s with a BASB is a perfect tow set up. I could literally do away with my EGT probe if I wanted. Spools super fast and has plenty of power. And this is towing on my GH all out tune all of the time.

    Coolant loss after radiator swap

    I always drive till it gets up to temp, run the heater some, then crack the degas cap open and let it burp before I shut the truck down. Usually do that the first few times I drive it and the coolant will level itself out once all the air is gone.

    Mine (6028) had good clearance front and back. Wasn’t a threat of rubbing anywhere.

    The 6028 fit perfectly on my 05 Excursion. That’s even with the front mount BPD oil cooler squeezed in there.

    LOL, not me! I took the day off the day my 1.5 was set to deliver. Had the stock turbo off that morning and waiting on the UPS man. Had that baby running less than 2 hours later. I don’t have the patience to wait when it comes to truck mods!😬😬

    I have a 7.3 and 6.0 Excursion and so far, the 7.3 gets my vote hands down. Still haven’t been able to work all the bugs out of the 6.0 yet.

    What’s the reliability between a thrust bearing and ball bearing set up? I’ve had both and never an issue with a thrust bearing set up.

    I’ve had good luck with the large case Bosch alternator with lifetime warranty on amazon and run it with a 58mm pulley.
