    Should be the turbo, all the fasteners, and the newer pedestal. The VGT solenoid should plug in and all the CAC piping, up pipes, and exhaust pipe should be fine.

    That's what they did for my 2015 F-550. It was doing exactly the same thing and they replaced the head unit. Been fine ever since and that was over a year ago.

    electrical connectors

    The turn signal/ brake light/ running light socket is the same size. The reverse light socket you'll need is a dorman 85814 and some 921 bulbs.

    Regen/ DEF questions

    My 2015 F-550 does a regen every 3-500 miles and uses about a gallon of DEF every 1k miles. Been doing that since I got it on Halloween 2014 and it's got 47k miles now.

    Yeah. My service truck was a 08 F-550 with the 6.4. It weighed in right at 19.5k all the time. Big service bed, crane, welder, tools, etc. it killed the 4 engines stock. Ford charged us nearly $20k each time it died, citing bogus claims about maintenance and so forth. I do love my 2015 F-550...

    Cracked or burnt piston?

    I'm just wondering if the K16 was leaking into the crankcase and then it melted a hole in a piston and created the pan removal scenario. No idea, honestly. Just thinking out of the box.

    05 front end bumper issues. Help!!

    Mine fits that way and I've never had the bumper off and it appears to have never been off before, as the bolt heads have no tool marks on them. My 05 that I had previously fit that way as well.

    We do rotate and balance every service at 7,500. We use hammer on weights because our trucks have steel wheels. Have no input on the balance beads. Some people love them , some people don't.
