    On my truck I had to cut it. My Strictly Diesel regulated return kit instructions also said you can pry on the exhaust for clearance. But I ended up needing to cut mine to get it out. Rusty

    You are fine. These engines run out of oil and shut down before any damage occurs. Your oil pressure gauge is really a switch, that goes to "zero" when that switch trips. Rusty

    I still have mine, and it works/functional. Whether it's necessary or not is up to you. I don't see any reason to mess with it or eliminate it right now. If the ABS has any problems in the future, I'm pretty sure I will just eliminate it. Rusty
