Brad, looks like they sit right next to the bed rails - not away from the bed like your DeeZee one. Tons of guys have them on their trucks around here, just never decided to take pictures of it.

Just move it. I have a flatbed and the cap and hose goes directly to the side of the bed (where the cut out is on your bed). Your fuel will still run down, but be careful. In Oregon we can't pump our fuel, so I always have to warn the gas attendants to fuel mine slowly.

Its normal for these trucks to take so long to spool up and "get up and go".

Have what appears to be an autometer triple pillar pod. Bought the package for the gauges - pod doesn't fit my truck so I have no use for it. They gave it to me with the ford OEM pillar as well... If you want both then you can have both :). They ripped out the "grommets" or plastic pins that...
