    08 f250 rev slam questions

    I had a good rev slam on one turn as well running canned tunes on my sct x4. Gearhead tunes cleared that right up. Mileage is slightly worse but I didn't buy a diesel to pinch pennies... Don't think I would run any other tunes other than Gearhead at this point.

    I usually switch to 15w40 during summer, but its really not a big deal. As they said its just the cold flow properties.

    Isn't mcc for h&s? It seems like the PCM is looking for sensors in the exhaust. I don't have any with my sct x4. I will call gh Monday.

    That worked. Gonna run her around to make sure batteries are charged then reload the tune. I will run it around the block again and try shutting down and restarting in my own driveway...

    Alright. I have an sct x4 and just loaded the 100 hp street tune from Gearhead. Went for a drive and had to stop for fuel. After filling up I get a no crank no start with no codes. Any help or ideas?

    Lifters rockers push rods. The usual. You have low miles at least so they shouldn't be too bad. I would say throw a coolant filter on there too.

    What hp tune are you running? What are your egts flat and level at 65? I'm running the 210 tune and at 65 I am hovering around 550 (less this time of year around 500).

    I got mine for 23k with 105000 on the ticker. If you can get it out on the freeway for a while and monitor the ect/eot. Find out when the last coolant flush was. All that good stuff. How long has it been deleted??

    Mine does it for the first 2 min during regen till the exhaust gets to temp then there is nothing.

    Just sounds like a regen bud. It will smoke for a min or two if it's cold out. And the truck limits boost during regen. Mine did the same thing.
