Well I don't have access to a lift for cab removal for the heads? Up pipes were replaced last year under warranty. Missed my opportunity for head gaskets and studs, but didn't have the funds for it. My guess is I will be paying a shop for the entire job. Not too excited about that. Thanks for...
Thinking about doing this in the future. 110K miles. No problems. Been tuned for almost 50K of those miles.
What is the average price yall have been paying for this job? Just wondering what to expect.
I ran the Race loc pretty often...it just shifts too early for DD..when in traffic it will put out alot of smoke when changing lanes or speeding up. Works great for 4 wheel launches and racing. But I enjoy the XtreemX tranny shifting.
Cant say enough about this truck. 40k of the 99K miles its been Tuned. Only run on the X race or XtreemX tunes. Still got the stock tranny, and original head bolts. Have seen as much as 58psi of boost!! Only had a up pipe replaced so far and it was done under warranty.
Had a modified Crysler...
Well guys, I replaced the knuckle seal, and the Hub oring. I used assembly lube on all of it. including the red oring on the Auto/manual selector assembly. No leaks and works with the swicth as it should. Appreciate everyones input and help.
I couldnt hear air, but I have a hand help vacuum pump. Driver side wouldnt even build vacuum. should finish this tomorrow. I gotta put together a tool to install the knuck seal. Hopefully I havent already damaged it. Uggh!
Well thats where Im At. The seal that comes out with the shaft..knuckle seal is bent to hell. I have a new one, but I dont want to ruin it installing it. Looks like its pressed fit on the shaft? Any ideas?
I have a Ford dealer 4 miles away. Probably dont have anything I need. They are a small dealer. If I need to order them, I will get all from you...will need next day shipping.
I need the red oring for the hub lock assembly, the yellow oring, and the knuckle seal. Also the new style dust seal for the shaft. My old one is just hanging.
Part numbers would be great.
