Yes, you will have less shock to the drive train / engine if you have two stages installed. Traction will determine the 1st stage and over all volume will determine the remaining jet size.

OK thanks. I will probably start with .067-.076

Start with .067 if that's the size jet you have. Moving to a .076 will be noticeable. Keep the bottle pressure correct.

Most starter kits come with multiple jets. Just look at the range that comes with the kit before you buy it. I wouldn't go by the hp numbers they give for different jet sizes either, I would stick with the decimal numbers.
