So I just removed my turbo, still waiting on my 15 kit to get here. Are the stock up pipes reused or are they different from the 11-14 up pipes? Looks like in the pics that the upper up pipe is new but in Elites description of their kit, it only says down pipe is included. I tried calling Elite but they're gone for the day. Figured someone that has done it can answer before I take mine off. And as a side note for anyone contemplating this upgrade, the turbo comes out super easy. I had everything removed minus the driver side up pipe in 2 hours.

Up pipes are replaced, down pipe is replaced as well. Here is a pic of mine. I believe one manifold and both up pipes are replaced, feed lines, pedestal, and yea idk the names of others.

What is the main advantages of the precision turbos? Is anyone running a precision on a 6.7 dd street truck? I am in the market for a kit. I want the best, but have no clue which one that is. I want to tow 14k occasionally. I want 650 rwhp minimum, and I want it to last. Oh, and I don't want it to bellow smoke all the time. I'm not concerned with the extra cost, as long as I am getting something for it.

I am scared to make the wrong choice. How easy is it to change turbos on the elite kit? will any t4 turbo bolt up? Is this a divided setup? I am a turbo kit virgin. Be gentle.

well the precision turbos are definitely top notch, but at the moment not for offer if you're referring to the 2015 retro kit. I think you're getting the full turbo kit like MPD and elite offer , with the factory 2015 kit that this thread is about. pm me and I can get you straight on what your options are. its pretty simple, the 2015 kit , just retrofits the 11-14 to allow the factory 15+ kit to fit, allowing for the 15 turbo option which is a better turbo. the other kits are COMPLETE replacement units with new mounting , piping, downpipe, and intake. pretty much different animals. your goals should dictate what kit you choose. let me know if I can help more with clarifying. I sell them all !!

Is there somewhere to send a bearing failed 11-14 charger and recover the core charge? Only thing I held onto after the swap was the turbo in hopes of getting the core back for it.
