Because the cleaner it runs means it’s burning more efficiently and I am not fan of smoke output. Especially with EPA things these days, the less attention we can draw to ourselves the better. IMO We should all be striving to achieve cleaner running diesels which means more efficient engines and fuel delivery systems.
