Sounds good!!
I talked to the supplier today and they said they will take care of it as long as nothing went through it which nothing did. They said they can do the 360 thrust upgrade as well.

What are you considering high horsepower? Mad Matt's race truck build has some pretty solid numbers on a dyno, he needs to get it to the track though to back them up.

If you don't like gtx turbos and you don't like box chargers, what would you suggest?

My thoughts exactly.. A stock motored 6.0 with just a fuel system doing 800 is pretty impressive to me.. but then again.. I'm the guy who sold him the junk gtx charger

I know you guys are all about 371, 367.7 and what not but what makes them better than the 366? Do they have a different bearing? What makes everything in a s300 different than the 366

The s366 is an s300, but the box chargers only use a 3 pad, 270* thrust bearing. The FMW chargers use a 6 pad, 270* thrust bearing, and they're all balanced, they last longer. Our box chargers are all balanced, unlike off the shelf units.

exactly dyno numbers...There's a difference actually running something and just selling something because you believe it works...idc any day gtx vs a borg will always loose on the track no one has proving otherwise

Thats actually a pretty brash statement to make. Because it clearly works and the truck runs great. I think you guys stick with what works at the time, because until your GTX charger exploded they were great!

My question, and this is legitimate for discussion, is why would the borg trap faster? Is it the blade profile, or what does everyone feel makes this more/less effective

Borg Warner turbine wheels were designed to work on diesel engine garret were designed to work on gas engines

And no the gtx was not was a piece of **** the whole time took twice as long to spool and ran 3/10s slower and lost 5 mph I believe

has that truck ran at the track to prove those numbers?

All I'm saying until you have ran one on a 6.0 you shouldn't say it's the best thing ever..yes they last but they are not designed for diesel engines...One reason why 90% of diesel race field runs borg Warner

I dont think anyone said they were the best thing ever. I think the only extreme statement here was you saying GTX chargers are flaming pieces of crap essentially..

We have quite a few customers running GTX4202/GTX4294's with our S400 Turbo Kits and really enjoy them, they make great power, and have great spool up characteristics.

Garrett also spends a lot of money on R&D and are always pushing forward, and I imagine they focus quite a bit on designing their chargers to meet diesel applications especially given the amount of Garret turbochargers used in OE applications on diesels.. IE, every duramax truck.. ever powerstroke minus 6.4s, etc, etc

I will say when looking back to LB7 testing with our chargers, we did end up sourcing borg warner components because we found people would compromise the turbine wheels quicker with the larger garret turbine vs the borg one we chose, so I know exactly where you are coming from there!

I think technology is advancing always, keeps us all competitive and in business, as long as trucks keep getting faster, like you are so great at doing, this industry keeps advancing, and thats all that matters to me, on that note, go break into the 9's already little gyngy!

I'm not saying they don't make power but they don't make full power like the borg from what "we" have seen
And I'm trying lol just don't want to break the truck lol got a stroker pump and some boost controllers coming
