Hm just depends. My friends trans was flawless with 180k miles until we put a powermax and 190s on it and it completely blew within a week lol. He went with a bts.

Yeah Gare, as long as your not beating on it everyday, and drive it with some sense it will live for a while. If you're like me, and have a very heavy right foot it wont last long. Let us know when your ready for all that fun stuff well hook you up brother. Got a few things in the works. Pm me for details.

the weakness is in the solenoids and the direct clutch.

I have a modded one in my 6.4 until I can get cash for another bts, it helped out. Wish we couldve saved my friends trans but it was toast.

That's what I would do. Mine is bone stock, VERY neglected, has seen the track and has 220k on it. recently it has begun to slip in OD after a year of beating on it. But every truck is different.

Mine lasted almost a year of 190/100 then installed turborizer I think 4 months ago.
Week before x mas it went south all the way.

Mine was doing perfectly fine with just a programmer, guess Ill have to see how it deals with the 185s I just put in, so far so good with 192k on the trans

gare, i have the same setup you want and have been running it for a year now at 530+ hp. i had some occasional shift flare but dropped in an upgraded solenoid and it's been fine. all depends on how you drive it. i for one, drive like a huge flapping pu$$y so i'm sure my trans will last forever...

Mine has been a champ. 270k miles. Towing, drag racing etc... Tuned for about 70k of it. Even drove the truck 200 miles with only 6 quarts of fluid in it.
