For pulling. Much easier to manipulate and drive especially with a manual. It was in it last time I pulled. Nice and easy to take of.

It's a competition thing. Hand throttles in pulling trucks are common when it's allowed.

very common , and WAY easier to control. there were a couple drag trucks with them too.

Hand throttle in a pull truck, you dont say haha. If you go to a truck pull and hear a 2.6 truck spooling on the line and it sounds like a damn tractor on the line jumping from rpm to rpm, you can bet its got a hand throttle. Looking better and better man.

No that usually just how the p-pumps wind up since it takes so much force to push the lever.

I can run mine smooth or chop it and make the same sound.
