OK, then do I even need to do an exhaust then based on Corb's answer? Sounds like it only changes the sound?

do you have the stock downpipe on or an aftermarket one?

if its stock, id do a full 4 inch to get rid of the stock downpipe...its so crimped and smashed that upgrading will help...stock downpipe (left) aftermarket (right)

I have the stock exhaust with only a delete pipe. Thats a great pic showing the difference. I think I'll do like you suggest and go with a full 4" kit. Thanks for the help!

My truck is a 08, how do I tell which "job" it is. I was planning on saving for studs and while the cab is off, doing manifolds and a upgraded compound setup and nozzles. Like elites tow powers or something along that line. (Might as well do it all when the cab is up haha)

Look at the build date. I cant remember the exact dates as to which is which so hopefully someone can chime in. If not I think you can find it by doing a Google search.

The guys that seem to be making the most HP, are running straight pipes. Although, that is illegal, but so is deleting the DPF, etc... LOL I like the tone offered by a muffler, and I really like my MBRP 5 inch. But, I have a ton of stuff done to that rig. The 450 is still 95% stock, to include the muffler. Much quieter, and does not get attention of Johnie Law so easily...

I believe you can tell by your manufactuer date on door pillar ,early 07 build job1 , they changed in late 07 (sept or october)to the job 2 , and in 08 changed to job3 , the other way you can tell is if you have an external trans filter then youll have a job 1 , wish i had exact dates but this will help , and as far as doing it all while the cab is off , im doing similar to what you want , but its been a long road , so ive had the chance to get just about everything done while the cab is off!!:D , so i dont look back , i guess ill have to go back in for more fuel but ill worry about that later !!

Yup a stock one

I was running Gearhead, either Hot street or hot race.

I'm sure it's just my Elite pump causing pressure spikes

If I were to sell my turbos and nozzles what could I get out of them?

Elite 60hp nozzles w/ about 500 miles on them

Tow X's (repaired) Cast wheel in the 76, billet upgrade to 59 on the VGT. Polished housings

yep. Kinda thinking i'm over trying to hot rod a 8,000 lb truck. Debating selling off all my parts and going back to stock and using the money to buy a car

or invest it, but I just looked at the gold trends at not looking super promising compared to how it used to.
