With that set up you are not going to have problems due to too much power. Gold will jus keep going up since it has hit its all time high, why wouldn't it?

Rotated Nitto Trail Grapplers after ~9k miles, it now sounds like I'm running Swampers! Hopefully they'll wear down the edges quick!

What tire to wheel combo and width are you running? I'm well over 20k on mine and they're staying fairly quiet. I'm on a 37x12.50x20 and they sound like my toyo mt's did.

Stock 20s with 35x12.5s. They were pretty quiet before the rotate, guess I just waited a little long and they got feathered. Ill try rotating a little sooner next time. Hopefully they'll quiet up in a couple hundred miles once they get use to running the other way.

Pretty happy with the tread life, looking like Ill get at least 40k out of them if I don't upgrade to 37s first.

Am I the only one on here with a Elite modded pump who is running stock lines and had problems? Someone mentioned I should get different tuning b/c the gearhead demands 27k and surges to 30k when you let off

also my truck is now making a weird metal sound on the passenger side front sounds like its coming from the wheel well. Sounds like when you go through fresh pavement and the little pieces are hitting and sticking and sometimes like there is a thin piece of metal hanging an hitting something. Any ideas?

Got a question. My front right tire seems to be wearing out more than the left side..(outer section). I already took it to an alignment shop, but it still wears out the tire. Caster adjustment maybe? Thanks

Any print out of the the alignment? Could be a few things, but sounds like the camber is too high on the LF. Doubt it's caster.

Castor does not cause tire wear issues, you have a camber issue or tire issue. If it still does it after rotating the tires, it's definitely camber.

I rotated my 37/12.50/20 trail grapplers at 5k and they got pretty loud after that. I know have about 3k since the rotate and to me they still hum quite a bit.

I've never seen rp that high on any of Matt's tunes. Stock or with the dual pumps.

Does this sound go away when you hit the brakes pretty hard?

It's pretty normal, I've got the exact tires and size as you do right now on my truck, i rotate mine every oil change (6k). My toyo MT's on a previous rig did the same. That's just a mud terrain tire for ya. Although these tires are considered to be one of the quieter tires for mud terrains. Had 37x12.50x17 BFG at ko's and had KM2's before that and both of those were twice as loud after they were rotated a couple times. I'll never run BFG's again for a traction tire, the KM2's sounded like TSL's :fustrate:
