Here some pictures of the Remote Filter Bypass Kit. I snuck in a picture of the freshly built WDI 6R Trans as well and the new OUO ALAs too.

Truck got cleaned up and my SF 22x12s are gone now. They got some replaced by some SOTA novakane 20x10 and 305/55 Toyo AT2s

Truck is an absolute blast to drive now. WDI Trans shifts absolutely perfect, it holds the power very well now. I have had to make a couple trans tuning tweaks with Chris but overall I'm very pleased. The ALA's and the new FOX Steering Stabilizer out of OUO's steady axis steering kit has literally completely changed how this truck drives, it's amazing the difference they made. Literally night and day. It drives so damn well now.

Trans cooler is almost too efficient with the colder weather, I may have to block of the cooler during the winter here because the Deltas are so drastic.

The remote oil bypass filter kit dropped oil temps as well since the remote filter is basically acting as a heat exchanger being mounted on the passenger inside frame rail. So Oil Temps dropped pretty drastically too. The trans being so cool is also causing the Oil temps to be low as well. I honestly never thought this would be the problem I face with this setup! Haha.

Blocking off the trans cooler should allow trans temps to rise a bit which in turn should help the motor (oil) temps rise as well. We will see if this is the case. If not, I may look into a shutoff or block off valve for the trans cooler or the oil filtration kit.

They will be for sale once they are re-machined and re-coated (same color as before) to fix the curb rash. There will be 5 wheels total, 4 with matching billet center caps.

The filter is humongous, it is no joke.

The kit is Strictly Diesels secondary trans cooler.

Saw it on instagram but had to checkout the oil filtration here.

I’m glad Jim’s still doing that I thought he was out of the industry or something now.

Once my stuff actually runs I’ll want to get one, lol.

Yeah Jim is more quiet these days than he used to be. He left LE a long time ago and he no longer is a dealer for them either. He can still get it for us folks that want to buy it though. Hes still doing TONS of lubrication and filtration type work in the background but it just doesnt get posted on social media because he doesnt give two shi*s about posting on there about his work I dont think.

As far as my setup, so far his remote filter kit is badass. I'll be interested to see how my oil looks at the first change.

Is ELS still open? Just not a dealer for LE I guess?

Is he still trying to do anything with dieselpros.co? I thought that was a great idea. Idk if it’s profitable if hes no longer a dealer though.
Ordered oil from him in like August. Still my fav guy to get oil from.

How long did the trans cooler take you? I’m probably going to put one of those on... I’m in Louisiana where it stays hot and that would be a good addition for those heavy summer tows.

Yeah Jim still runs his company ELS, he just isn't a dealer for LE anymore I don't think. You might want to ask him that directly to confirm it 100% though. I was buying all my LE stuff from him, still do. Unlimited Diesel has a bulk tank with 8854 engine oil now though so that's nice because it's local (ish) to me.

UDP did it for me when they installed the trans so I'm not sure. It looks pretty simple though, I was told the grill needs to be notched slightly on the inside to run the new cooler lines to the cooler itself. I'd guess 2-4 hours to install it based on experience from what I can see.

Damn, I’d love to find a place with bulk 8854.
Honestly I should probably buy a 55 gallon drum considering I have 3 6.4’s in my shop, 3 6.0’s, and 3 3126 cats, and my dad’s 6.7.
Plus some isuzu/mistu 4cyls that probably can run 5w-40.
