Damn, I’d love to find a place with bulk 8854.
Honestly I should probably buy a 55 gallon drum considering I have 3 6.4’s in my shop, 3 6.0’s, and 3 3126 cats, and my dad’s 6.7.
Plus some isuzu/mistu 4cyls that probably can run 5w-40.

You should probably buy a bulk tank and start filling it with 8854 LOL

I'm on TCM file Rev #6 now and we finally have all the kinks worked out and everything is right where it should be, I think this will be my file to stick with from here on out.

I have about 1000 miles on the trans so far, Andy Warren wants me to put 5k on it then do a filter and fluid change and that lets the 9 pack overdrive get good driving miles and heat set in to to get it situated. Once it get's to 5k mileage and we do the first service, I think i'll dyno it again aright after that since we dyno the truck in 4th and 5th gear OD.

It wont take me long to get 5k miles on this thing. I drive 500-1000 miles a week depending on the week.

It isn't going to make much more than it did before. Guess is 625-650whp MAX. Somewhere around 1400tq probably

Saw it on instagram but had to checkout the oil filtration here.

I’m glad Jim’s still doing that I thought he was out of the industry or something now.

Once my stuff actually runs I’ll want to get one, lol.
Not out. Just busier.

Is ELS still open? Just not a dealer for LE I guess?

Is he still trying to do anything with dieselpros.co? I thought that was a great idea. Idk if it’s profitable if hes no longer a dealer though.
Ordered oil from him in like August. Still my fav guy to get oil from.

Yes. He is still doing all that.

I think a 55 gallon drum was the best deal when i did some figuring for personal use. In about due to be ordering my own. Still through jim. Just not as good of deal as it used to be.

Can't believe Jim isn't with LE anymore.

He is and he isnt. He still a dealer. Just cut back some and the deals he used to make isn't as good but is still better than ordering online. Or could find the local rep to you. I wouldn't but thats just me.

live life full throttle

Well not much to read up on here. WDI Trans shifts flawlessly and has 1100 miles on it now. It feels like a stock 6R trans honestly. I've taken multiple people for a spin in the truck and nobody believes me when I tell them it's a fully built 6R.

I blocked off the secondary trans cooler for winter. Temps on the highway are about 180*-185* running 80mph and get to about 195*-200* in the city now going light to light. I'll unblock it in the summer.

Oil Temps on the highway are about 150* and get to about 170* in the city with Jims remote bypass kit being mounted on the exterior passenger side frame rail. The cold weather is definitely making that thing act like a heat (cold) exchanger basically for the oil as it filters it.

UDP is working on getting a custom insulated sleeve for the filter that has thermal properties so we can get oil temps up a bit. We would like for it to see 170-180 pretty much all of the time. Once this is ironed out I believe the kits will be available for sale to the general public. They will work on emissions equipped truck and dleet trucks as well.

That's all I have to report on. I have no more plans for this truck anymore so not much more will happen in this thread. It might get an update when it goes back on the dyno but that's it.

Thanks everyone for following along!

He just does his own version of the Fleece Cheetah VGT basically. 63.5 compressor, 66.5 turbine out of an 03 6.0L VGT (tip height modified to fit the housing), 360* thrust bearing, fully balanced, machined out housings, some small other odds and ends that I forget. It's nothing fancy.

It drives really really well. With the Built Trans, 10mm CP4 and piping kit, this setup truly drives and spools better than stock.

I don't expect anything over 650 whp/1450 tq honestly, the charger is tapped for air.

If I wanted or needed more power, I'd just buy No Limit's Add a Turbo kit with a Precision 7685 and do that but I have zero want for that right now for the cost.

Thanks for the update.
That remote filter should work pretty well in Louisiana where it never gets cold. Something similar to this set up is probably where I will end up one day.

Keep posting up pictures as well. Every time you put up a new one it makes me want to paint my Platinum grill and swap out headlight like you did. How is the sound of that 03 turbo turbine? I really want someone to make one for the stock 6.7 turbo. I don’t want much more than ******d power but I really want more whistle!

Thanks Man.

It sounds like someone put a 6.0 turbo on a 6.7 engine basically lol
